My findings so far:
of the 24 known cut Needhams in the database:
14 have flat bands
8 have convex/screw bands
1 has convex no screw bands
1 Unknown
Of the 24 Needhams with a cut stock:
11 have IN
4 have IR
7 have no stamp
2 are unknown if stamped
Two different cuts have been found so far. Most are V-cuts under the middle band. Three examples have been found with straight cuts including one in my collection. The straight cut also has holes for pegs. Have not found any V-cuts with peg holes.
Both cut and uncut Needhams were found at the battlefield.
