When Schuyler, Hartley, & Graham bought at auction all of the Fenian Breech-loaders(Needham Conversions) and parts confiscated from the Fenians a number of them were sold to small militia units and G.A.R. post.
There are a number of Needham Conversions in this site that have specific numbers and/or badges that are believed(by me) to be militia, prison or G.A.R. This section will show the Needhams with the numbering and badges.
