There are 4 known wedge pins. These pins are used to fix the wedge into the hammer.
There is a possibility the type of pin may help distinguish between Fenian built Needhams and SH&G built ones.
Type 2 is by far the most commonly used
The types are:
Type 1: 2 Flat pins
Type 2: 1 Round Small Pin
Type 3: 1 Round Large Pin
Type 4: 1 Inset Pin
