Home of Barton Jenks, son of Alfred Jenks, the owner of Bridesburg Machine Works
Home was known as Holly Hall and was built in the mid-1700’s.
This was General Howe’s staff headquarters when the British occupied Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War. Later it became Nugent’s Hall and was the home of Barton Jenks. It was demoilished in 1908.
